Can you recall sitting at the dinner table, devouring everything on your plate, and eagerly awaiting the main course? Dessert is always the highlight of a dinner for most kids. Nothing is more satisfying than being presented with a serving of your favorite dessert. The only catch is that dessert might become more of a problem as more and more parents worry about their kids' diets. If you're watching your child's calorie intake, you may want to forego giving them something that's high in sugar or empty calories. For some kid-friendly sweet shop, try these:
Ingredients for a Simple Graham Cracker Cake
Graham Crackers, One Box
Thin slices of ripe mango
1 jar butter
Condensed milk, one can
Directions
Refrigerate the blended cream and condensed milk for at least an hour.
Second, arrange the graham crackers in a uniform layer in a pan or plastic container.
Then, after layering your graham crackers, spread the cream mixture on top.
4. Arrange a few mango slices atop the whipped topping.
5 Perform the process a second and third times if you so like.
Maintain cold in the fridge until ready to serve.
Bowls of Jell-O
One regular-sized packet of unflavored instant Jello and one cup of fruit juice.
Pieces of recent fruit
Optional: whipped topping
Directions
First, prepare the Jello as directed on the package, only use fruit juice in place of water.
When the Jello has finished cooking, stir in the fruit chunks.
Third, divide among serving bowls and refrigerate.
When you're ready to serve, divide the Jello into separate serving dishes and dollop each with whipped topping.
Crisp Apples
Three medium-sized apples, peeled and halved with the cores removed
Brown sugar, 6 Tablespoons
Butter, 6 Tablespoons
One Cup of Granola
Mild creme
Directions
First, in a bowl, combine the brown sugar and butter.
Then, arrange the apple slices in a baking dish and dot the top with the butter-sugar mixture.
The third step is to bake the apples at 350 degrees for around 30 minutes.
Apples, whipped cream, and granola should be served cold.
If your child is eating a healthy lunch, there's no reason to deny them dessert. A pleasant recollection of wondering what dessert would be is something that every child should have.
